"It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they’re on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome. When we hold space for other people, we open our hearts, offer unconditional support, and let go of judgment and control."

What is a Life Coach?

A Life Coach is a personal support individual whose aim is to help clients determine and achieve personal goals and their life's dreams. A Life Coach is a teacher of human behavior, and selects from a variety of methods to help clients better understand self-defeating thoughts and learned behavior patterns, and help you reach positive goals.  A Life Coach helps people clarify and articulate what they want most from life and how best to achieve it.  More specifically, coaching helps people get past their obstacles in order to create the results they want in life, work, relationships, and spiritual growth. Coaching is like having a “personal trainer for your soul”.

Coaches are not therapists, nor consultants; psychological intervention and business analysis are outside the scope of their practice.  Life coaching is unique to each individual drawing upon the inspiration from such disciplines as sociology, psychology, positive adult development, career counseling, mentoring and other types of counseling.

Why you might want a Life Coach?

Coaching is particularly helpful if you feel out of balance, i.e. working too much, playing too little, if you feel something is missing in your life, if you want to pursue a new career or change jobs; if you need support in any of life's major transitions, or perhaps you simply want more joy in your life. The process is fun, it is deep and it is intriguing. It is a transformational journey of self-discovery and personal growth. If you are ready to try it, give me a jingle. P.S. I’ve trained with the absolute best, Dr. Martha Beck (, who is a Harvard Ph.D., best selling author, and columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine.
